^ hehehehe

Very similiar to the dogs last year on many grounds..

1. Losing key half the following year
2. Injuries all over the park
3. Lost our Fullback at the exam same point last year hehehe
4. Rarely played the same 1-17 in consecutive weeks.

Could be worse though. Could have signed Brett Finch.
see all those players phillips mentioned were excellent at their clubs but went dud at your club. Finch on the other hand is crap already so the only way is up.

The ugly question for the Tigers. is whether they would have made the 8 even with Marshall. Prior to his injury they'd produced no real consistancy and hadn't looked like premiers.

werent we 6-2 with Prince,Marshall,Farah and Hodgson this year ????

I'm certainly no more dissapointed than I was for every year between 1990 and 2004 when we played like a bunch of busted arses.

Probably less so actually because we are the reigning premiers and it will never get any better for a Tigers fan than it did in 2005. As fans we were extremely fortunate to be a part of it - winning a competition, let alone that competition the way that we did, was more than any of us could realistically have hoped for, and before getting stroppy about 2006 we should count our blessings.

I can't cop the blokes bagging Scott Prince. The bloke came to our club, did his best and won us a GF last year against all the odds. He should be f**king knighted as far as I'm concerned and no matter how ordinary he goes this year he doesn't deserve the crap that he is getting from the arseholes.

Joel Caine No 1 fan,

Lolesi has been absolutely woeful all year. Worst buy of the season by a long shot.

Ryan O'Hara?

The Tigers paid overs big time for Ryan. He was only a 40 minute prop at best in his days at Canberra... he's a bad asthmatic and he smokes. Go figure...

I still think O'Hara will end up being a good buy.

I certainly don't think he is as bad as many are making out. There were a few games earlier in the year where he was excellent. Dropped off in recent weeks though. Consistency is the key.

He didn't play at all last season, so I'm expecting him to stand up and get much better next season.

PS. Can you give us TLL? ;-)

As for the other signings, the only poor one was Harris. Lazy, disinterested prick with the heart of commitment of a marshmellow.

Lolesi has been pretty solid without being outstanding and has played almost every position on the field. Done what he's asked and is a very good defender.

Galloway is continually improving and will be a force to be reckoned with in a few years. Props aren't judged when they are 20 years old.

With Fulton (a huge loss, especially in defence) and Marshall back next season and cross fingers that everyone stays fit, we'll be back up there.

I've been watching O'Hara with interest and I agree, he hasn't been that bad at all. He's been playing IMO like he did in Canberra - good, but not consistent enough. With the Canberra winter being pretty cold his form would always drop in the middle of the season and his fitness (due to his asthma) would suffer, he'd end up on the bench a lot and his minutes would go down badly... it's interesting you've thought his form was better early on, maybe it's the exact same thing?

He's probably down a bit on fitness anyway with missing all of 2005 but he has had the entire season to get it back so it probably isn't a factor...

As for TLL... no, he's ours. :)

O'Hara hits the line hard, but has been getting smashed recently. I don't know what it is, he need to work on trying to break the line or at least get some leg drive happening.
