IF (and that is a huge IF) that is true then:

* Lyon's heart was never with Parra

* He never played for us

* He's acting like a child;

so he can get stuffed.

This issue with Jamie is probably deeper than any of us can know.

It seems so screwed up - one season he's Australia's best centre, the next he just doesn't want to play. Whatever's happened since just adds to the confusion of the original issue.

For me, coaching staff need to also have a motivating role. Look back at Jack Gibson and his caravan, where players could call around day or night about any issue in their lives - and that was when players still had other jobs! Now players are paid fulltime, and the club isn't clued up on how important the satsifaction in players (other) lives are to their work performance.

I was always worried that if Cleal left then it would have an effect on Jamie. Obviously it has had some effect on his decision. He said he began changing his mind about footy towards the end of last season, which is when Cleal left. I don't think we should be speculating on this though, if it is his reason then it is a poor one. I can't take anything out of the interview though that makes me believe he left cause of Cleal though.

Wasn't Jamie a big reason why Cannings came across - fellow Wee Waa boys? Whatever Jamie's issue was it had the potential to run through the club like a cancer.

Lyons left for a few reasons,
1) He felt that Smith could not get the best out of the players anymore.
2) He asked Fitzgerald if when not needed to play ie during the Bye could he go to the country. Answer NO WAY.

He is happy back in the bush and would return to Sydney but not at Parra while the present management and coach is still there. If he does not play again in Sydney he is not worried at all.

Where did u get that info from?

Did he talk (1) over with anyone? - ie. anyone at Parra...ie Brian or Fitzy or players or other coaches

I think (2) is probably a reasonable request - at least have a bit of time to go home (not just Jamie - any player) - maybe Fri-Mon of the week of the bye.

Also expect Hindmarsh and Cayless to look at leaving when their contracts are up.

I got this information from a guy known as Yehudi on the rabbitohs.com forum whom I know and also is well known to a lot of players and was recently in Wee Waa as he gets around to a lot of places.

I have heard the same about Hindmarsh, not sure about Cayless. I think Parramatta just need to get rid of Smith even if it means paying him out 800k. If he is there for another 2 years its only going to get worse. Smith will wreak the club which he has already basically done and it will take 5-10 for them to recover.

That's news to me. Make no mistake Hindy is VERY close to Smith as is Cayless, Vella and Wagon. They are and always have been his pets and I seriously doubt any of those will leave because of Smith.
