What really happened Carch, was that we were going to win.

Then at 19.30hrs on Saturday evening the Stinking Stains kicked off. The ball flew in a high projectile into the ingoal area where Holdsworth braced himself to catch it and offload quickly to a big dumb forward.

As expected at 19.30.5hrs Holdsworth dropped the pharken ball cold. It was all downhill from there.

Not the first time we dropped the pill off the first kickoff this year.

Robson did the same I believe, although I forgive him.

Can't forgive Holdsworth.

The good news is we are only 8 points out of the 8 plus a few points differential

Steve look on the bright side of things. There is only one way for us to go points wise and that is up.

Gee...is it my turn?

I guess I say something about saint's kicked off.

Reefy sat in the Brewongle Stand stand next to a bulldog selector discussing the best 27 players his dad's, mate's son at Penrith has ever seen.

Then take what Reefy posts.

Halve it.

Divide by 6.

And you get somewhere near the truth.

Ill say what really happened , I had two eyes on the tele Holdy drops it cold and by the end of the game i could only watch with one eye half cheering if we got to the kick
A bigger cheer if the ball went more than 25m

I must admit I was a little excited to see how Brown would go and had some hope for the match but Holdsworth deflated me so much with that drop.

Just for a change, I must be the only one who watched the game who thought Brown did nothing. Yes, I rate him and he was playing in a weak side, but barely noticed him.

He didn't do anything of note but he didn't look out of place. Handled it defensively. Ran the ball and got smashed a few times but was still running it late in the game so he didn't shy away from taking them on. But he was over called by Holdsworth so rarely got good ball and Holdsworth had an absolute shocker.

^^^. Yeah agree. Handled the step up fine. Gagan had a few moments of shear terror but came good in the end. Brown looked at home for mine. Others should have stayed home.

Yeah. That's about how I saw it. About the same as you and Ads. Promising and not out of place. That's it. Also , the same on Gagan as you. Improved after a tentative start.

Agree Weby. I thought Dave Fifi, who hasn't really been mentioned in this thread, went pretty well.

How was the monster fend he put on one of their players! Sent him flying. Highlight of the match for me.
