finally Aston Villa are realising their potential and slowly earning some respect - it's a long way from the 1-0 home loss to Southampton in late 2002 which was imo the single worst Aston Villa performance ever. Barry is back to his best, Angel is thinking 03-04 again and the youngsters like Davis, Cahill, Ridgewell are maturing. Good times.

Ever bothered to check out the video highlights from the week's EPL matches on Foxsports? This weeks belter was a headline that read "all the EPL highlights" and in that video it contained nothing but Scum U failing to score over and over again. Christ i hate the media in this country.

meh. Villa have had plenty of "good" seasons over the last 10 years. They all involved them finishing between 6th and 10th, and if this season is a relative success, it'll be no different.

I understand your point, but this extends to the EPL in general.

With regards to the coverage, I believe they get the feed from Sky Sports in England. I remember reading somewhere that Sky have a contract that says they are to show a certain amount of games involving each team in the EPL but it's to their discretion as to which ones. I'm not sure how correct that is...
