Teams that are more or less secure in the top eight have been losing of late, with teams that we'll be in direct competition with for a spot picking up points ... that's going to hurt us, I reckon.
Very disappointing, but the team's only got themselves to blame. The knew they wouldn't be able to coast along this year with an amazing streak at the end ... but in the end that's exactly what we have to hope for now.
If the Storm hadn't been stripped of points, we'd have no hope at all. Zero. On that basis, you'd almost have to say we don't deserve to be there. Sigh.

No.
Suity
Their payroll is 1.5 times everyone else's. So their 11 wins would be more like 8.
Oh - they'd be behind us - oh dear.
So if they were legal we'd still be the same faint, remote, outside chance that we currently are.
Can we? Yes!
Will we? Who knows, depends on which team turns up. The committed, fired up team (seen against the Storm), or the lazy, ill-directed side (seen against many sides this year!!!)
It is a tough, tough ask. One thing for sure, if we don't beat the Titans, I think 2010 is gone.
Agreed - they have the ability to win every game
win 4/5 and definitely make it - would also mean they are a chance to do well in the finals.
Win 3/5 and hope other results go our way - they would be making up the numbers.
As Suitman said - if they had of won 2/3 out of Cronulla and Newcastle games then they would be fairly comfortable in the 8.
we are like chameleons sometimes even against the top sides if they start throwing wild passes and dropping the ball then we start throwing wild passes and dropping the ball (the knights game is a perfect example)It's almost as though we get scared we'll lose to a lower side, that we play cautious against them or play at their level.
