He carved up today. Gower obviously trusts him now as he was refusing to give him any ball after his unforgivable ball hogging earlier this season.

Who would have thought at Round 9 this season that I'd be sad to see him go now.

According to the stats along with the hattrick he made 3 line breaks, 2 offloads and didn't have a single mistackle.

All while marking up on a current NZ international.

King was a self confessed, un-interested hack when he was at the club mate, very hard to blame the sharks for letting go a player with the attitude he himself says he displayed.

Franze never reached any great heights for us, given plenty of chances though, and his form at the panthers has been brilliant lately, but they aren't going to make the 8 are they ? and early in the year he was no better than at the sharks.

And the point has been made, he is going to the UK mate, no NRL clubs saw fit to sign him.

He actually had THREE other offers on the table, all from NRL clubs (the obvious be all and end all), but the UK money was too good to knock back. Perhaps, I should have clarified my statement a little -- since the C. Anderson era, so ably continued by one StuePid Raper, how many Sharks backs IN ANY position have stood out?

As a matter of interest, without bias -- out of the ones you have listed -- how close to rep selection to you believe any would be playing for the Sharks -- Covell's earlier in the year doesn't count (should not have happened). Vaginamite doesn't count either -- he is being picked on past history.
