In other words, if Bird is out for the season, it won't matter.

However, after tonight, it's hard to be positive about our chances!!!!

I don't want to wish serious injuries upon anybody but I hope he is the Broncos problem now.
If you want to command a 800k+ pay check, you better f**king play like you are worth it.

Capewell can do the job just as good if not better.

If he is injured we can risk him though, it could be injury which just needs time to heal so we can play him each week, then Broncs problem

Why risk him? And is it really risking him? He's been balls all season and I reckon since he signed for big $$$ and a nice job for the missus he hasn't given a shit. Pack him up and be done with him.

Well the Jets are struggling he can play for them

I watched the Flanno half time spray before, Bird was looking unfazed, sucking on his Hydro-icypole looking like he didn't give a f**k. Everyone else looked like they were getting an icypole up the date.

Just watched that halftime rant - love Flannos passion.

Didn't have much effect though.

Birdy was not with it...like his on-field exploits.

Bird
Good bird - GF hero playing injured and did something only a handful of players have ever done. His health also indicates he only has so long in the game.

Bad bird - arrogant, confident and a down right muppet at times. Jets game last year Val Holmes took time for photo and chat with my son, Bird turned and ignored us. Not too fazed, understand and to a degree don't blame him. My son though....soon as he got wind he was off to Brisbane, was thankfully no longer a shark. Looks forward to watching the first game he plays against us.
Moral of story - difference between a good and bad bird is how long it sits in the oven - too long and it gets dry and tasteless, too short and it will is a recipe for salmonella and make you sick.
We have probally had the best of the bird, broncos get the stuffing and the crap you find in a chicken torpedo at 7-11 cronulla at 400am.
Be nice if the last part of the year we get to see the whole bird roasting before he goes off to the microwave in Qld

CAme in here to find out the status on his injury & got 8 pages of absolute tripe.
Is there any news on the injury? We need him badly if we going to give this thing a shake.

Flanno is playing down the injury at this stage. Nothing more in the papers today. Probably will find out more later today.

Coif, I don't know what you've seen in Bird's performances this year that makes you think we need him to give the Premiership a shake? He has regressed this year as a player.

Capewell has contributed much more to the team than Bird has all year.
