I hope he stays. His form particularly in defence has been very good this year. If he signs a one year contract and keeps going well in 2025 Flanno will no doubt sign him again for the 2026 season.

There is no doubt that a percentage of our performance improvement can be attributed to Flano holding the line with negotiations with certain players.

There is a desperation to JDBs performances and a real desire to get the best contract he can.

I'm glad JDB has agreed to stay on for at least to the end of 2025 and I'm glad that this has been sorted at long last and now concentrate on the couple more players that Flanno has in mind to sign. Good work by all. Cheers.

And we offer 700k for one year.
how much of that will it effect our cap since he is a one club player and played for 10 years + in first grade
or will it effect out cap, not sure how it works, someone can shed some light on it for me

Not at all .. the bonus is an extra allocation to the cap if you have one player that qualifies .. hunt qualifies for it too

Yes indeed it is good news that Jack De Belin has been extended for another season .

Always remember a comment he made many years back when at his peak - “ I just love cutting opposition players in half “ .

Well thank goodness the Big Red V will not be his opponents next season !
