I think you might be onto something there Magpie Guy. Moses is the future #6, but I can't see that future starting in Round 1 next year. Moltzen can do general kicking duties, like restarts, line drop outs and kicks for touch just as well as Anasta can and his general play can't be much worse. Despite Anasta managing to catch Chase Stanley on the weekend, you'd have to say Moltzen is significantly faster.
I reckon if Tauber can't get him an ESL gig or drum up any interest from Japanese Rugby, he'd be hard pressed finding a club in the NRL that would be interested at the moment. A year with that hanging over his head with a no nonsense coach, playing outside the next big thing could be the perfect environment for him to put in a great year and earn a spot at somewhere like Canberra, who have shed Dugan, Williams and now possibly Milford and Fathead Fergo.
I must say in theory it does sound good.
Moltzen was playing better footy this year.Moltzen had a shit year in 2012, but this year he has actually gone alright. He honestly would be a decent 5/8 partner with Brooks as he is quick and can find a hole. Anasta on the other hand has a much better deep kicking game than Moltz and is much better in defense. Either player would only be filling in untill Moses is ready but lets just say Brooks breaks his leg (God forbid).......Having Molzten around would be handy
Not surprised. He never got a crack here.Best 7 we've had in years!!!!
Considering Jacob has only played 9 games with Hull he's played pretty well so far, getting more confident and settling in! from what iv seen he has good defence, good kicking game, step, pace . The more games he plays no doubt he will get better, remember hes only young and i am sure he will go back to NRL after establishing himself in SL!
