Not too bad a signing for you guys. Has a bit of pace and has some versatility.

If Jake signs with the Dolphins, I wonder who will play left centre? Herbie made it known he wants to play right-side and feels that's where he's most comfortable. You'd have to imagine Bennett/Woolf will be looking to accomodate Farnworth first and foremost.

Otherwise I like the signing. Averillo was a stand-out junior who is just starting to blossom in first grade. It gives the Dolphins more strike and he's also versatile which is an underrated quality in a player. Hopefully he can work on his defence, I think Aitken is protecting Katoa just like how Beau Scott used to protect Soward. At a certain point, the band-aid does have to come off, but I'd expect some teething issues there.

Aiken is versatile too, can play him out of 2nd row, aswell as Valynce, they dont all have to be centres..
I reckon brenkos done

I think they might play him left centre or maybe as a winger. They could play Aitken or Avarillo off the bench as both provide decent utility

I thought I saw Jake on the left.
Can play halves and full back too.
Would be a good signing I think, at a bargain price.
The game is all about cap mgt these days.

That's one strength of the team - Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, Jamayne Isaako, Tesi Niu etc. can all play multiple positions if you need them to.

I'd have to imagine Averillo's signing may have sealed Niu's fate. I'd still like to see Tesi stick around as a depth option. Last week was a poor game, but he was slowly but surely building up his confidence. With a proper pre-season, I still think he has a future either as a wing or centre.

400K till the end of 2026 according to ZeroTackle.

Link

Not the most reliable source, but good value if true. Don't forget the salary cap is going up by 22% next year so under the current cap it'd be $300K.
I heard the same. Just wanted to confirm.
