JG is an on field leader that we desparately need. Whether it's 2 years(with a 3rd year option), I still don't understand the negativity to going after him from some here based on his neck. He actually hasn't missed many games over the years despite playing the way he does.
Let's hope his signing is announced after we beat the Dogs.

Apparently the dragons are prepared to pay $666,000 for graham next season. Two thirds of his bloated, backended $1million 2018 salary the dogs owe him thru their cap mismanagement.

Sheesh...

Correct done deal to be announced as soon as Dragons semi run ends.. Pity after a Blairs monstrous performance last night - I wish we had signed him...

Where did you hear this? Not seeing any articles on this in the last day or so.

In relation to Blair, he is far too hot and cold. We don't need a loose cannon, we need a tough leader that is going to work hard for the team. Blair is a show-pony.

Reported on channel nine this evening - Dragons confirmed to pay 2/3 of his remaining contract - so I d imagine
Year 1 - $660k
Year 2 - $500k
Year 3 - $500k

I don't see Graham helping the Dragons come even close to a premiership.

Hunt is a good start to fixing the halves and Dufty in time imo will certainly fill in at fullback rather well.

Mary hasn't got the knowledge or the discipline to make the Dragons a genuine threat.

Alec is right, Graham is currently playing in a stale team with no direction. Nobody in that Dogs team knows what they're doing and he's not getting any support from his forwards.

With guys like Vaughan, Frizell, Sims and De Belin taking the pressure off him I have no doubt he will excel.

Good but better is as above but 9 Hunt 7 Cronk throw everything at him to get him here he is coming to Sydney and a lot of you will say we cant afford him but who can and I think we cant afford not to sign him Graham is a good buy if only to translate what the f*#k it is our captain is saying

Wouldn't trust Channel 9's figures, from their reporting we'd have Jack Bird in our team now. After their report last year of him 'signing with us'.

If we sign him for 3 years it will be about as good as Nene.
Promising a lot and delivering little.
Plodding ball hog who will only get slower, will get picked every week, will hang around for 3 years getting his $$$ and we will lose out in respect of our juniors as some will have to go elsewhere to crack a regular spot.
Mann will more than likely be a bench player again next year and only 3 forwards will get spots LAM and 2 youngsters, yet we have at least 4 who need to be there regularly to mature to NRL standard.
Usual short sighted approach if it happens.
On a positive note at least Graham will be able to keep up with Nighty and Lafai and not overrun any pass he might be thrown.
