Thus far, Maloney has been far superior to Moylan. Always knew James would be a plus for you, hoped Matt would be the same..long season but you guys are certianly in front on this deal as of today.

Something isn’t right with Moylan, I’ve seen pretty much every 1st grade game he’s never played the way he did the other night. He was putrid in defence. Needs to get his head back in the game.

Hopefully not this week

I never heard that one.

A few issues were building up. Merrin hitting him was after a few heated discussions with players. Pretty much cameback to Cleary and the players taking his side. Lead to Moylan saying to hook to fire Cleary. It was laughed off and he was told Cleary was hopefully staying for a very longtime.

He went in to Gus' office (infront of 7 or so people) swearing his head off. Said it was the coach or him. Gus said don't let the door hit you on the way out. Rehab and the playing group not wanting him back followed.

The BS leaked was apparently Soward doing it as he is good friends with Moylan and Peachey (who also stands by him). This would explain why Soward isn't working at the club as he was promised

Technically any team under us are shit teams including Melbourne :p
Theres thd good but underperforming teams like Roosters, Storm and Broncos. Good due to a decdnt roster and/or voach.

Then there's the good teams due to form so far. Warriors, Dragons, Tigers and us.

Storm is the game I am most interested in. Even in bad form they beat us. So winning that would be huge. Sadly it's a long way off. But what better way to enter finals than a win over the reigning premiers? A team weve beaten once in like 14 years and against a coach Hook has never beaten.

Huge monkey off our back

This is fascinating. It aligns with what I heard re Moylan. Drinking whilst on rehab, not completing what was asked of him to get back quickly from his injury. I understand there was other 'partying' ways too. Spending heaps of time with unsavory sorts whilst doing this.

This I understand did not sit well with many in the playing group. You know the ones who are very good at looking after themselves, doing absolutely everything to get back early from injuries. The likes of Edwards, Merrin, Sauce (in fact most of the crew)

So I think the majority of the squad almost packed his bags for the shire.

I think he loved our jersey and his teammates. Who apparently didn't like him back very much (depending on what rumour you believe).

He had some shocking moments in our jersey. But never because he didnt try. Usually because he's weak and slow. I think hes just slower and weaker now. Coupled with not loving his teammates or jersey as much. His slack efforts in training are no doubt why he's as weak as he is... and his attitude to rehab is probably why he's slower.

For how happy he looked in the pre-season. He sure looks like he's unhappy now. Dugan must not be as fun to have a beer with as Blake is.

This fits in well with the whispers I've heard. Apparently the team would visit one of the gyms in the Penrith area (can't remember which one - perhaps Zoo Fitness) that has a cryotherapy facility to help with injuries.

According to my source, the whole team would visit, along with the injured players. However, it was surprising that Moylan would never be there, even though he was going through injury rehabilitation during that time.

I thought the Panthers Academy had all the mod cons ?

That is the sort of stuff that got the players offside

They still do recovery out of the training academy. Use a swimming centre near where Brothers play I forget it's name

So they spent all this money on the academy and it doesn't have everything they need? Lol.

If this stuff was written in the paper about our players you'd all be complaining about unfounded rumors and media agenda against the club.

Everyone loves running with rumours on message board as fact and it's all fine. Even with these rumours contradict other rumours originating here and being accepted as fact.

Elveryone here hates Moylan because he supposedly betrayed our jersey. Yet these same people are saying he was pushed out by Merrin after a dust up. And that the playing group hated Moylan etc. And nonr of them wanted to play with him.

If that were true. Why does Moylan deserve to be hated for leaving us when he really had no choice in the matter? If the Merrin rumours were true.

https://www.google.com.au/amp/www.n...an-penrith-panthers/2rui4392x0fw1iim9cj3k62lz

The Panthers forward said Thursday that 'Moyza' loves the club, and wants to remain at the foot of the mountains.

Following the revelation that Moylan has been suffering with mental health issues, links to clubs such as the Sea Eagles and Sharks emerged, however Merrin went about allaying the fears of Panthers fans.

“(On whether there is a rift with the players) Not at all. Moyza was with us after it (loss to Broncos) and spent a lot of good quality time with us," Merrin told Sky Sports Radio.

“Just all rumours. Not too sure what people are saying but us as players we know what Moyza is and how much he means to this team and that’s all that matters."

Merrin said that he has spoken directly to Moylan about his 2018 plans, and assured listeners of the relationship he shares with the club.

“He loves the place. He doesn’t want to go anywhere. That’s the feedback I’m getting from him. It’s all positive on my end," Merrin said.

“It’s all speculation."

Merrin also claimed that Moylan is a different person when it comes to analysing rugby league, claiming the Panthers captain prefers to have a more hands on approach to supporting his team.

This is why 'Moyza' has been seen on the sidelines on an exercise bike, instead of up in the coaches box with Anthony Griffin.

Moylan has been helping the halves pairing of Tyrone May and Nathan Cleary whilst taking an indefinite leave from the NRL.
Just ridiculous the amount of rumours being started in this section and how quickly everyone jumps onboard as if they're fact.

Or that people here have hear rumours and for some reason believe them as fact. Not all of these rumours can possibly be true.

Nor does it make sense to hate Moylan because you think he betrayed us while also believing he left because the team turned against him.

I want him to have his worst game in history against us this week. But any other week I want to see him happy and playing good footy.

Can probably find out more by his interactions with guys after the game than anywhere on here. Afterall 12 months ago everyone was certain TMM had banged Merrins missus.
