I thought that Webster played Ok on saturday night, however i believe the Shane Muspratt should be the alternate hooker. His defence in the premier league side on Saturday night was most impressive. Also, when he returned to the field on Saturday night, the PL side was down 24-6, and i believe he was the catalyst for our comeback that snatched a draw. Keep your eyes on him. One to watch.

Wasn't to impressed with him last year, but he seems to be getting better each week this year.

He works in well behing the big pack, and is not afraid to take any big players on.

I've always loved Webster & wondered why so many ppl disliked him. The guy is a champ!

He is good when the big blokes start to tire. It hurts me to see him play like that because he so much reminds me of the best dummy half runner in the game, the man with explosive pace in the first 20 metres, the one that we let go, the one and only PJ Marsh

They didn't let PJ Marsh go... The Warriors paid $200k for him...You can't keep them all under the salary cap... The Eels are not Canterbury or the Roosters!!!!
Same as Drew and Hindmarsh.. You can't keep Drew and sign Morris, you can't keep Dunley and keep Webster. You can't have Schifoske (Clinton) and keep Hodgson, you can't have Richards and get Grothe... That's the way the Salary Cap works.. Its about choice, picking up bargains, and letting those with expired "used by dates" move on.

I'll back you up on that. Meyers is a hack. Had one big Origin series a few years back and has done jack all since. Even Broncos fans can't stand him.

I noticed the amount of darker skinned players too. But also there is more ethnic diversity at the club and in the NRL than ever before. In the 50's and 60's players whose origins were Lebanese, Maltese, Chinese, Italian and Greek would have been extremely rare if not unprecedented.
