News article I read stated her age is 25. Anyone know why her Id is being protected? No criminal charges, not a minor or anything along those lines.

Prosecution are furious he has gone overseas, from an already overseas country. Seems they are doing their best to paint him as the man on the run, ducking and weaving their attempts to serve him with a court notice.

I looked it up. In California for certain civil matters the applicant can file under a pseudonym. To protect their privacy.

I personally feel -- and this is just my opinion -- that Jarryd Hayne committed a heinous crime against an innocent girl. Whatever happened in his apartment, his Christianity is clearly fraudulent.

Given that, I am so proud that the Sydney Roosters, the NRL glamour club, decided not to even consider buying Jarryd Jesus Hayne.

Over the years the NRL has never been openly critical of the poor, knee jerk reaction articles written about it. They just sit there & cop it.
No wonder League is a media punching bag. Soft as sh*t.

Over the years the NRL has imposed poor, knee-jerk punishments on players, and the players just sit there and cop It, well until one in particular made a point of it to the CEO after a GF win.

NRL = soft as sht. I agree.

You only have to tap a woman on the shoulder these days to be accused of rape.

You only have to tap a woman on the shoulder these days to be accused of rape.

It’s comments like this that contribute nothing to the discussion, and take it back in reality. I’ve read at least five of them in this thread

The reality is that a reasonable percentage of guys have got away with being assholes towards women for thousands of years. This ranges from an inappropriate touch, to vulgar language right through to rape. In most cases men have used their dominant position (mostly through a position of actual power or physical presence) to do this

There is only one question to ask yourself - is that fair?

If you don’t think it is, I hope you accept that society needs to change somewhat to eradicate some of the behaviours that lead to what I mentioned above

Trivialising it via comments such as ‘oh if I tap a woman on the shoulder it’s rape’ is totally unhelpful. It reinforces old stereotypes and paints the male as a victim through their so called ‘rights’ and ‘liberties’ being stripped away.

I’m close to women that have lived through versions of the above and I can honestly say that I didn’t ‘get it’ until I understood what they had been through

I hope you guys who maybe haven’t had the opportunity to consider the world from this perspective take a moment to think about it
