So agreed...49s...as a team...not so looking good...hey I am a shark...you guys and Hayne...know the struggle.....

As a team Ron, I know little..

49s..playoffs?

Anybody?

Mate the niners went through the offseason from hell, lost there coach, lost argurably there 8-10 best players, all either suddenly retired or just left from the internal turmoil, a shell of the side that was only SB bound 3 years ago.

I like the 49ers, but many picked them as a 4-12 side this year, and tbh, they are by far the worse side in there division talent wise.

And the coach sounds like they found him on the street and just offered him a job:lol:

On the upside kap is looking better this year. On the downside our defence and O line is a shadow of its former self. It probably bodes well for Hayne though, once we're out of playoff contention, he'll probably get a lot more chances and that will determine whether he is back at the eels

Philli's O line is a mess....Murray is a gun but when your not given room or blocks this will happen.

Ron knows the game better then me-He predicted all this too me so I value his opinion on Hayne highly. I too think Hayne needs to spark up a few good runs in the next 2-3 games or he may be in the tri colours next season.

Hayne is the main return guy for the 49ers,you don't risk injury prone players like Bush or Ellington at the punt returner position and White is a genius who runs backwards,Hayne won't be going anywhere for a while.

I don't think anyone should expect Hayne to be an effective NFL running back on inside runs for some time (other than 3rd down draw plays)....he was left to do that twice today b/c of Hyde being banged up. He'll be more useful on outside runs a lot sooner.

This year is all about him learning the game.

Perhaps..... I agree with Ron thou if he isn't making plays NFL will replace you with the next draft or free agent. You have to make plays and shine now and then- You cant just make up numbers.

Sure, he's not safe for a long time. But when the 49ers signed him up I suspect their vision was that he'd spend a fair bit of the first half of the season inactive. Of course if he drop more punts he'll find himself in some trouble.

If he is given plays he will have too perform otherwise its seen as wasted chances. So far he is yet too really make a play.He did a decent one in his first game actually when he jinked past a player. Needs to be doing a little more of this thou.

Hayne didn't get any more carries as RB because the other PR guys in Bush and Ellington are injured and injury prone and they didn't wanna add another PR guy to the injury list and they also didn't give him any more RB carries because Deandrew White proved himself to be a genius who runs backwards which was yet another reason not to risk Hayne getting hurt.

As a 49ers fan, I never expected them to make the Playoffs this season.
We've been through too much turmoil and personnel changes over the offseason. Our division is much too strong and we have lost a lot of talent.

Our best hope is for Kap to keep improving and the young guys get plenty of experience so that we can build for future seasons.

That was on Facebook the other day.
Someone actually asked if that was the real Jarryd Hayne.
It even says there somewhere that it was filmed in Glenelg in Adelaide.
