Well, on the bright side at least Kap looked much better. Making throws he hasn't even attempted in ages.
He did everything he could to win us that game.
Shame the defence is pus.

1-4.
That was such a winnable game. We have a tought draw this season. We need to take every opportunity we can get.

Things are falling into place for Jarryd.

Is now no1 punt returner, and expect more puts as the rookie D gets better.

Is now no 2 RB with Carlos being not fully fit, means more runs.

I also expect to see Jarryd used as a RB receiver, as in Colin passes to him in space.

Deadset reckon he would go all right at CB, dude can tackle and cover.

Anyways, the journey continues with all things coming together.

Perhaps, safety is better.

Just saying on the odd play, he could play D. Just say "This is your guy", have complete faith the dude would have him covered.

Hey why not, we are breaking the yardstick already, imagine a guy who plays O & D.

1st PR, 2nd or 3rd RB, 2nd or 3rd SS or CB

He is a league player and we play both (O & D), as I recall the dude was an awesome defender. Highlight reels tend to show tries, pretty sure he saved a few, and had some good hits.

Just saying limited time even then, not worn out.

My dream for Jarryd.

Gets 3 pun returns.
One fair catch, one 16 yards, one 80 yard TD.

Time on field
3 mins

Gets 5 runs as the 3rd RB
2 x 2nd downs, ave, 9 yards
1 x 3rd down, complete as a RB receiver, beats 3.
1 x 3rd and goal, TD

Time on field
4 minutes

Gets 2 goes as 3rd SS.
No tackle 1st play
Pick 6, second play.

Time played 2 mins

Somebody send this to the plumber.

the problem (in terms of jarryd getting more RB time) is that carlos hyde seems to tough out his injuries and play with them - bastard!!

In my plan that is OK

He be no1.

I am talking maybe 10 plays all up, for Jarryd.

Hey who knows Carlos could go down, Reggie be gone, Mike D and Jarryd would get time.

Rather Carlos play and Jarryd still get just a few runs.

Reminds me, got to check rookie of the years odds.

yeah but while hyde is capable of getting on the field he will just about always gets the runs near the line ... i was surprised jarryd had 2 cracks so close the last game

Reggie will be an awesome mentor, but his calf will keep him week to week, and usually out..

I just at least would love to see Jarryd play D if only in practice.

Again tell the plumber, how can it hurt, in practice, try CB, SS, FS.

Watch the dude cover his man, and take a pick.

Not like I am asking to be a Nose Tackle, and only 3 or 4 plays, 1st line goes first off course.

Deion sanders played both o and d as well as returned punts and kicks. He also played Major League Baseball at the same time as playing nfl he once scored a td and hit a home run in the same week

There you go, and yes I reckon Jarryd would be prepared to play D, 4 plays per game.

3rd string. ..get your man.

Pick 6.

Just watch it later...ff the ads.

Been on Fox subscription for over 20 years. Can't get one of those new fangled IQ boxes which are easily accessible to 'new subscribers' for SFA....UNLESS I pay $150 for being a loyal customer!!!..Need Sky for the races...otherwise I would tell them to stick it.
Haven't got a replay facility for Free Tv either....
Just a poor old pensioner.....
