First time in while that I reckon we got few calls go our way. We were pretty lucky in some of the penalties we got.

Well we got a pretty fair go tonight.
First time in a long time I can remember it going our way so much.
Tigers fans have a right to be pretty filthy.

Having said that, all through the game they were laying all over our blokes in the tackle. Especially in the first half.

Yep, the penalty count was pretty close to accurate, but we did get the rub of the green tonight. An awful performance, but deserved winners.

"Fairfax Media understands...."

What the hell does that even mean? Do they have a source? If so, why not say it. Just saying that they "understand" gives no credence to what they are saying whatsoever.

In any case, I hope it is true. Arthur really needs to get in Archer's ear as often as possible. The way our team has been refereed the past few years has been disgraceful.

More like someone in the nrl told the journo so he comes up with the fairfax media understands bit instead of source or who the source is

Well the better side probably won, but gee the ref gave us absolutely nothing in the second half, with a number of decisions going against us killing any chance we had:

- Pauli's tackle in the first set. Nothing wrong with the tackle, roosters player just lost the ball.
- Vai dropped ball while playing it, just like the lost ball from roosters later in the half which was a penalty.
- the shoulder charge on Morgan plus elbow to the head. If not a shoulder charge then penalty for elbow
- not many would remember this, but in the last 10 mins, we were on the attack peats runs from dummy half. Neither marker was squared but were involved in tackle. No penalty yet we were penalised several times for markers not square. This would have given us a set on their try line.

Just those decisions killed us. Plus I am pretty sure roosters were off side a fair bit, especially out wide. Cordner was pretty close to off side on the Kelly tackle for the kick out on the full.

The shoulder made contact with the head which his 100% a penalty regardless of the debate over the shoulder charge aspect of it. Disgraceful effort from the refs but the scary part is the awful level of officiating in the NSW Cup and the Holden Cup means there is ZERO pressure coming on these merkins from underneath.

f**king typical of the refs, the glamour team has an off night and they miraculously can find 10 penalties against the weaker team, yet the biggest penalty conceding team in the comp amazingly only gave away 5 tonight.

Like Stuart said years ago, we are easy to penalise cause no one gives a f**k about the Eels.

It was like the ref thought "Hang on, are the Eels really beating the Roosters here? Something's not right. I'll fix it."

I didn't have a problem with the Norman no try, even though it was ok for Stewart to run behind someone on later and kick it but the Taka no try was BS. Then a nice piggyback up the field off a stone cold drop which gave Manly 6 sets in a row.

f**k Manly

f**k the Refs

f**k the Bunker

f**k the NRL

f**k their eyes!!!!
