Hello everyone, Thsi si my first post so bear with me.

Can anyone update what is happening with Jarryd?

Is he seriously thinking of taking up the red ball game?

Or is this a once in a life time opportunity to become a millionaire?

If I was going to sign someone who has not played the game at the highest level I would have an escape clause in the contract to dump the player out to the minor leagues.

I suppose Jarryd could fake it for 1 year take the money and then return to league...however, money has a habit of destroying the very most talented player.

welcome mate

the red ball game was all bullsh*t, as you can probably gather by now

Roy & HG said tonight that Hayne was off to the USA to support Vic Darchinyan in his world title bout. Clearly a fact finding mission with a view to signing with a major ice hockey franchise.

just on that, it appears that we've stolen Vic Darhinyan from the wests Tigers as an ambassador/supporter.

i wouldn't bet on it

he hasn't ruled it out and was not making the same comments he did in England when he arrived home today

he'll take the money and go imo.

He also said he'd put pen to paper when he arrived home.
He's only been back in the country a few hours.
I say we just wait and see.

The truth will be heard from the tongue of Jarryd's mother.
What has she said thus far???
Has anyone asked her?

well there was no mention of that today

he does not even want to think about it were his words

i'd say he's changed his mind after getting offered $7.5 million

Maybe. Who knows?

I'll tell you one thing though.
If Hayne signs with GWS, it's not going to coerce ME to watch AFL, that's for f**king sure.
I'm loving the fact they are prepared to throw $200 million at a venture that is doomed to fail.

lol....

I'm sure Ossie now regrets the fact that he's revealed in the annual report that he's agreed to terms until the end of 2013..

Calm down. If he goes, he goes. If he stays, he'll be under immense pressure to emulate his late 2009 heroics. Lose-lose imo.

are you geeing up???

I've just seen the interview and the kid just walked through customs ffs!!!..you must of missed the bit when the news reader said despite agreeing to terms BEYOND next year...

I thought you'd be smart enough to realise that the interview was heavily edited to get a decent story out of it..
