He wasn’t the same player this year. Granted, some of that was down to injury but the fact that he carried on like a f**kwit about the Fullback role was an eye opener for me.

I got some early mail in about April that BF was acting like a twat regarding the fullback role, but also some later mail that he was being influenced in his attitude and behaviour by another player that is being shopped around because of attitude. There is definitely some level of recognition in the club that French can add value to a team that has some better performing forwards and halves (better than what we saw in 2018 at least). It wouldn't surprise me if French is given another shot although not sure how this will end up playing out.
