Is there a difference between rape and sexual assault?...
The appeal judges have not. Let’s see what happens! The Jury has spoken .
There are so many errors in this post that I don’t know where to start.Yo buddy, he hasn’t been sentenced yet, so nothing to reduce!
He will go through the motions at sentencing and then I think he is likely to appeal the conviction proper.
A district court judge doesn’t the appeal court what to do, he cleans their wigs and drives them home!
But he’s not out of trouble yet.

That explains a lot.Go for it Rumpole.

Your law degree is from the “British School of Courtroom Drama”.
Innit?
You what now? You’re such a pussy.
Ring vlandys and get him down to 1 week!
Seeing you know everything about everything.
You what now?
I apologise for making fun. This is clearly dementia related.
Do you reckon the Tigers will still offer him a deal for when he gets out? He will be 40 but surely still better than BJ
Doubt it’d be successful. Will the Hillsong cult pray reeeeeeaaaaaaaalllllly hard for a holy intervention here? Maybe the judge will get smoten from on high?
I'm surprised at the result to be honest. From reading what was released to the media, I thought there was enough doubt introduced by the defence case. Jarryd must have been terrible in giving evidence.
People here who think it's as simple as 'I don't agree with the result so I'm going to appeal', don't really understand the process or proper grounds of appeal. An appeal may not be possible. (probably is though in this case)
They could make a movie about it.What are the odds of Hayne organising a team of cell mates to take on the prison guards in a footy game?
