I'm no where near the "good luck to him" stage... I've passed denial and now I'm in the anger phase... It'll take a while before I'm wishing him well.

You would think on his recent trip he went through some paces etc. and scouts of some sort have said he would have a decent chance, otherwise it is a massive risk for him.

We are f**ked though

I wonder what position He'll be looking to play in? I'm sure he'll be able to handle the NFL, it's not a harder game to play than the NRL, there are a lot more nuances with the plays, etc. But Hayne is a world class athlete so he'll do just fine.

Although I doubt He was actively recruited by the NFL, from reading his letter, it sounds like he has been chasing it for some time now. The US visit not long ago makes much more sense now.

RIP to Parra's 2015 season unless we sign a superstar Fullback like, right now.

It comes as a bit of a shock. We've kind of got all our eggs in the one basket here.

2015 looms and we have no marquee player. Izzy is under contract for 2015 IIRC.

Brett Stewart to play with Watmerkin ?

While he is a great player and a massive loss and impossible to replace there are positives. It does free up a shit load for next year (which is not much good this late in year) and the following years. We do have Hoppa who could be ready for fullback, he was very good back there. We could even maybe pick up Hoffman.

Shattered, can't believe it.

This club is cursed it truly is.

I feel like someone punched me fair in the guts, don't know how to feel Id like to wish him well but this has totally f**ked the club.

I can't believe people are so relaxed about this - the ramifications for not only our on-field performance but for our sponsors, memberships, etc., are huge for us. This is a major blow to the club and I care more about the club than I do Jarryd's ego...

Wasn't Arthur in Bali when he got the job?

I can handle this. As long as he isn't playing for the Dogs my life will go on

Fiji/Bali , look the same. Certainly stuffs up his vacation , he left yesterday lunch time with a few mates , unbelievable for Brad:crazy:

f**ked the club or given us the chance to spread the cap and get more quality players into the roster (albeit no one of Haynes quality).

I prepared for this earlier because he pretty much has said for a while he wants to give it a shot and if an opportunity came up he would take it.

The f**king long snapper gets 600k for my team, all the guy does is hold the ball for the kicker, for his dream and a chance to make good money, how can you not be happy for him?

I reiterate, we are f**ked but that is not his fault, he has carried us through absolute shit, I can't begrudge him taking this opportunity!

What a wanker. I would have wished him well if he hadnt been such a f**king hypocrite.

We will benefit from this.

Great player but a cancer to the club.
