Dragons co-captain Jason Ryles is looking to life after football opening his own coffee shop "Coffee Guru" in Corrimal this week.
Ryles, 28, has gone in to partnership with his mum, Debbie and is looking at having success off the field as well as on the field.
The cafe is fast becoming a place for all the players to get their coffee from with a number of them calling in daily to see how things are going.
"I'm out here a bit with Simon Woolford," he said. And the boys try to come out between training sessions to see how the store is doing which is really good."
"Mum has always wanted to get into a shop herself and this opportunity came up through Woolford.
"Coffee Guru is a Canberra based company where he has his own as well as here in Dapto as well, the opportunity came up and everything fit so we went ahead with it," added Ryles. "My first love is football but i realise that i need to branch out in to other areas."
The Berkley junior re-signed with the Dragons earlier this year through until the end of 2010 but has his sights set on setting himself up for life after football.
