It seems that you really don't like it whenever your opinions are questioned or challenged.
No I don't like it when you vilify or aggressively single me out you f**ken imbecile.
And 2023... and 2018.. and 2015...
2023 and 2015 were just a lack of personnel. The team didn't underperform.
Why the lack of willingness to accept that a coach's responsibility (preparation) might, just might, be linked to poor season performance? Why the need to mock or dismiss any criticism of the measurable output of a head coach?
I already said we were poor in 2018 and 2024, and the coach is definitely responsible. Just like when other coaches have had their teams underperform.

But isn't front loading the effort simply a tactic, and not preparation... #clownboy
Frontloading effort is what all the best players do, and Arthur wanted his players to have it at the front of mind. It's not a tactic any more than making your tackles and not dropping the ball is a tactic. You have all these opinions and you don't even know what tactics are. I'm embarrassed for you.

Of course it was. The side never evolved or grew as the season went on. It was a one trick pony with no surprises. Once the finals come the real contenders mostly rag dolled us.
That's because they had better teams than we did. Our tactics helped get us into the finals with such average squads. Yes we had a few stars but we always had plenty of plodders.

only if they have high ability
Yes of course. Assuming two players of equal ability, but one is better at effort areas, that guy will cost more.

Our successful period began in 2019 with a big, low effort pack, and those merkins ended up baked in as senior players even as the game made them less useful. I think Williams for RCG is an improvement (including with the extra cap space freed up). A decent hooker will improve our defence as well.

I look at your profile pic and cant help but paraphrase a great Bart Simpson quote:

How can someone represented by such thick glasses be so stupid?

I couldnt help but notice how these players are all of sudden plodders these players now but 2-3 years ago when we were calling them plodders & Pou would argue relentlessly how they weren't.

I guess we have come full circle with this debate and Pou has seen the light we all saw.

Every team needs plodders... there's 30 spots to fill in the roster ffs... can't help bad luck.... need more resources... blah blah blah...

Did any of the other side in top 6 have any plodders?
I'd hate you to be cherry picking to back your view.
