So...

2 games into his tenure, and an in form Doggies side coming up next week

Will Rylsey last the 4 year term?

Understand he will need some time, how much time ? Is it a free pass for a year , two years ?

Didnt expect much from this season, but also didnt expect two early thrashings, and likely a third next Sunday

For now, its wishful thinking we would get more wins than last year .
Really, Moses is injured, and the squad is settling in.
First match - Melbourne Storm, full strength, in Melbourne, did you really expect a win?
Second match, 37 degrees and Tiger's again at full strength definitely out enthused, although the first 30 mins was a tussle.
Give the guy (Ryles) a break.
I honestly looked at the Eels draw, which frankly is much harder than most other sides, I thought a win or two in the first 6-8 with Moses playing would be acceptable.
With Moses out, the kicking game suffers and our front line attack is more pedestrian, but still required great defence from the Tiger's and Storm.
Ryles, is investing in the long term, clearing out older heads, bringing in youth, creating a club culture.
While I was dissapointed with the Tiger's trouncing the boy's, there were still moments where the blue and gold did compete well.
Try not to throw the Coach under the team bus, because clearly you either expect too much or lack the fortitude to stick to a new squad expecting immediate success. T.

He’s tried to make a statement by getting rid of some players, demoting some players and playing some reserve graders ahead of them all whilst never having coached a single professional game prior to this.
Talked about culture and connecting to the fans but it seems the players and coaching staff haven’t connected with each other.
Too many Bea Arthur loyalists or players with Stockholm syndrome. Has he tried to much too soon?? Looks like a yes but at least we have a coach in charge who is not just worried about saving his own arse and setting up his sprogs with a career in RL.

Yea I’m thinking too much too soon, particularly with no runs on the board anywhere.

A little thing I noticed in the stats was dummies. I believe we only threw 3 dummies all game. That’s a coaching issue, all players no how to do it, that tells me he is limiting the players to be as vanilla as possible, exactly what happened under Kearney. The last two weeks is all coaching. I don’t buy excuses of new team and new player crap, they looked like they haven’t done a skills session in 8 months.
I think the only one who really tried offloads was lane. Hopgood doesn't even try to offload anymore. Paulo wants to but then holds it back

Yes....but our boys are softcocks....they can't handle the heat
How on earth our bunch of softcocks managed to beat the Cowboys in Townsville in the searing heat to get into a grand final could become one of the great mysteries in the history of Rugby League.

All that resilience we rarely saw before in a Parramatta jersey and certainly have seen nothing that comes close to that since that night was somehow found for 80 mins.

No problem giving Ryles a go..

I’ve said it a few times before 18 months is enough time . Never had hopes for this year with the changes happening , both players and system overhaul. But I think most of us are expecting a little bit better than last year.

No one allowed to raise concerns ??

Potentially 3 floggings coming up. Pretty sure Ryles and coaching staff wouldn’t have expected that, but fans are supposed to, using excuses?

How long do you give Ryles before he turns it around?

Yeah I don't think Ryles expected the crap the team put up for the past 2 weeks.

He said in the press conference he was disappointed or it was disappointing yesterday also said our edge defense was shit.

It's clear that a player clean out is needed , but on a more positive note the players brought in since the arrival of Ryles have been the better performing players more often than not.
Give him time to get the squad how he wants it.

Can anyone who goes to the training sessions tell me how different our training was? We did the same rubbish warmups yesterday. Was hoping we'd change it up to a better game preparation warmup similar to what the storm do instead of just kicking a ball around.
