Stupid Stupid thread this one.
Those calling for O'Meley obviously did not see the first game last night. O'Meley was poor....shoulder charges big deal....
His defence lead to 18 points for the kiwi a side.
Ryles:
Came on when the score was 18-0 to the kiwis.
Went off with Australia up 22-18. Kiwis then score 14 points in 10 minutes.
Just a coincidence, I think not.
Stats have already been provided by another poster...I don't need to mention them again.
Ryles doesn't miss tackles, he makes metres with the ball, he can offload and create second phase play.
He has the intimidation factor which most of you who have never played the game wouldn't understand.
The players like playing in the same team as him, just look at the players polls about who is the toughest player etc...who you don't like playing against. Ryles name always comes up.
You people might like to think he is soft but the people who matter, the players don't think he is soft.
Have a close look at his game next week without the hatred in your eyes for him and see the amount of work the bloke does.
He would be in my team every day of the week.
