Jason Taylor Doing The Right Thing

Its about time a coach pick players on form.

I would just like to commend Jason Taylor for again putting Tim Smith in the Eels Premier league side. Its about time the coaches pick players on form. Its not a secret that Tim Smith has been out of form lately and Im really happy that Jason Taylor has stepped up to the plate and axed him from the first grade side.

When is Supercoach going to do this???

Supercoach? Never. He only ever changes his team with injuries. He would have Buderus and Simpson starting last week if someone hadn't told him they were out. copy and paste

...even then his selections are strange to say the least...he'd have been shattered if Carmont was'nt fit for the Dragons game.

Hagan makes some very dumb selections at times, eg Julian Bailey on the wing in a semi final. Hages has his favourites there's no doubt about it and he'll persist with them until they get hurt.

Tim smith was dropped for turning up drunk to training not being in bad form. Everyone has bad games, dropping them to premier league and replacing them with someone vastly inferior doesn't help anyone.

Hagan is right to persist with carmont, you know why? because he is the 2nd best centre the club has. So really, stop bagging Hagan because your bored of seeing the same players every week.

Both Tim Smith and Mark Riddell were demoted to PL for turning up to training drunk.

Riddell has apparently been named on the bench in 1st grade, while Smith stays in PL.

Do you homework Reginald, Tim Smith was demoted to PL in the first week because of turning up drunk. But this week it is because he has been in bad form for some weeks now and Jason Taylor believes that Smith needs to pick his game up if he wants to be starting in FG week after week.

Is that you Hages???? Single Newy Chick is correct. Tim Smith has been in poor form this year and Taylor did the right thing. Carmont last year was woeful but walked straight into the side week after week. How disspiriting is that to a player like Brad Tighe, who was the best centr in the club lastt year, and top try scorer, couldn't even get a trial there this year. Reynoldson will be the same, and Tanner, they just waltz in every week no matter what the form of other players. Kidley at 7 when Johns aint around is another blunder Hagan persists with. Players should be picked on form, not copied and pasted in every week.

For some reason i burst out laughing everytime the "Is that you Hages?" line is used.

I just picture Hages sitting there going "Ahh sh*t - busted!!!"

Oh really, the knights have players that aren't up to buderus and johns standard you say???..well lets just get them right out and replace them with all the top class players from our premier league side then.

Good idea Antonius. Also lets replace our lock with a prop, another good idea.

Taylor has had a great first week and a bit as coach. I comend his decision to drop the players for behavioural problems, and keeping Smith in PL for another week as a kick up the arse.
Keep it up JT.

Na just a little banter Astro. Reginald seems a little familiar to me, I'm racking my brain trying to think what it is about him/her.

All as i'm trying to say is that HAGAN HAS NO BALLS omg he picks the same guys every week regardless of how well they play..Reagan tanner who the hell is he???? When was the las time he made a break and ran 80 metres then flick passed back handed to athoney quinn?? I don't remember, in fact i don't remember him doing ANYTHING i'm not even sure i could pick him out of a lineup because he is so bland.

Hagan is way to soft. WHen someone has a problem with there game he probably takes them out for a romantic candle lit dinner to calmly it and offer helpful suggestions. You only need to look at the team ladders to see this isn't working. If i was coach and someone had a bad game i would verbally abuse them for 20 minutes then knock them on the ground and stomp on there necks with my combat boots. Then replace them with a slightly younger player.
