Taylor was told it wouldn't be wise to go out with the boys on their mad monday celebrations, so he went anyway. He ended up getting knockede the f**k out, there is no way his players could respect him after an incedent like that.

Taylor has erred. Can anyone see Anderson or Bennett getting dressed up in a karate suit and slapping players ? He showed poor judgement and no control. He should have had one drink and gone home, in a suit. When you are the boss you need to act and look like one at all times. There is always an imaginery line between the boss and the employee. Fitzy was right about Taylor after all.

In saying that Souths were just looking for an excuse, and they got one.

Regardless of his record overall, Lang took a team tipped to finish last to a premiership in 2003. He knows what it takes and that puts him head and shoulders in front of Moore, Cartwright, Stone, Anderson, Henry, Furner, Cleary and Smith in my books.

However thats just my opinion.

That was always going to be the result. It's much cheaper giving your coach the arse for playing up than what it is paying his contract out for under performing.

Rusty is obviously a firm believer in the phrase do as i say, not as i do.

We give our players chance after chance for stepping out of line, some way way out of line, yet we give a coach the sack for a first offense and a pretty minor one at that.

I know people will say the coach has to set the example and be above all that stuff but I still think he was hard done by. I think it was a easy way out and a cheap way out and it was more about results than anything else.

I hope he gets another chance sometime down the track

Lol Dave Taylor is yet another overrated player heading down to souths. I am expecting yet another disappointing season.

I do agree about the coach though. They don't get much worse than JT so i guess there is at least one positive going into next year for souths.
