Holden cup stats should normally be taken with a bucket of salt, but it is impressive that J Brailey was right up near the top in both tackling & attacking stats. I don't expect him to see much NRL in 2017, but I would be surprised if he didn't end up a regular first grader at absolute worst.

Australian men's football currently holds the mantle of the champions of Asia. Germany won't exactly be quaking in their Adidas Predators in the lead up to Russia 2018, but still a long way from 'hopeless'. Even more so when factoring in the level of competitiveness in world football compared to the NRL.

Reckons there's a lot of Ennis in him & he has Ennis by his side every day.

Anyone with any knowledge of rugby league would know that's an unrealistic request....it's such a long season, he might go for 10 games but fall away.

I'd say Flanno would expect him to struggle for the whole year & will support him, most probably with resting him for long periods during games.
