They've just signed Sam Walker from Ipswich, turns 17 this week.

He's the son of Ben Walker & was half for Qld in last week's U18 team that easily defeated NSW.
yes I know but with easts when is enough, enough

It shouldn't have been a difficult signing, but if he was being chased by several clubs, as reports suggest, then we did well to secure his signature.

I am also keen to see young Schiller (I am not sure if that is the correct spelling of his name) from Young join our ranks. He has some raps on him too. He is playing against grown men for the Young Cherrypickers.

Young Cherrypickers, what a classic name for a footy team. lol

Yes, this is the one with big wraps on him as a fullback. Playing 1st grade in that competition against men and still at school.
Was signed to us with the condition he was allowed to finish his year 12 exams. He will join us next year.

So, lets see if Sullivan, Schiller, Wishart, Shouppe and the Feagai brothers who are all great talents (no doubt there's a few more like SSE) get the opportunities or will McRoadblock keep his team sheets firmly fixed on the "old guard"

Yes James is looking good so far, he will play Flegg next year.
Great bloodline related to the Mullins and the Hetheringtons. Wouldn't mind Jack joining us if it helped with James transition.

Beau Henry and Jackson Hastings. But not sure where you fit them both were halves.

Is there a chance George would be a good pick up
I can answer that Samy...huge huge wraps from all and sundry at Young..I will be up there in October and I will try and get an update in his progress this year before he comes down to our club.
It all may mean nudder when get to the regime of NRL system and PATHWAYS under Millwards? watch as Possm puts it...but could not have done anymore prior to this year to impress ATM. Doing HSC at the moment.

This crop of SG Ball players is pretty special.
Besides Sullivan, the Fegai twins and Aaron Schoupp, the 5/8 Amone, the fullback Stewart, Sloane (who plays wing) and Blake Dowel (prop) also have a future.
Add to this young (no pun intended) Schiller, we have really good and talented players coming through.

Now of course we have:
JF - Where i think Talau is doing a good job with that team. Already including sone of the SG Ball players already. So, no roadblock there if you're good enough. Team currently sits 6th on the ladder.
CC - Matt (I want to be water boy in 1st grade) Head. Doing OK. Plenty of younsters given a shot such as Saab, SSE and Blacker (who are all eligible for JF). Team currently sits 4th on the ladder.
1st Grade. McRoadblock, what else can you say, the selections of Aitken, Latimore and now Maranta. Team sits 12th on the ladder.

Herbert, Sele, Garrick and now Robson (and maybe a few more by seasons end), can we all see a pattern here?

Silverman
I was just thinking that, everyone hung sh()& on the idea......but in my mind I think we have 3 or 4 budding SILVERMEN!!
Id go Sullivan, Saab, Lomax AND Field probably Luch aswell

the thing with this bunch is the way they combine in attack..... specially the way Dufty hangs round Lomax and Luch or Field for the offloads to snaffle many tries like they did all their careers together so far...

Robson would have been in that bunch but hes leaving sadly, I hope not but im my mind we must have Luch Lomax Dufty at least all together as they all know each others game and work, ironically as a TEAM!! every team needs it......that telepathic connection of the ones that DO combine since kids.......get onto it MARY!
