The Demon Duck of Doom (Bullockornis planei)

:shock: :lol: :lol: Be afraid, be very afraid, Madunit.

Bullockornis planei and Genyornis newtoni were more heavily built. They stood about 2-2.5 tall and probably reached 220-240 kg. The largest dromornithids were Dromornis australis and the massive D. stirtoni. The latter may have been the heaviest bird to have existed. It was about 3 m tall and some estimates place it at 500 kg.

Because of this combination of its large skull and possible carnivorous habits and its probable waterfowl relationships, Bullockornis was nicknamed 'The Demon Duck of Doom'!!

The Duck Race...


Lemme tell you a story....
On a dark and stormy night,
In the little town of Houghton....
There happened to be a large flood...

This flood was not just any ordinary flood,
but it was a was the kind where a large
water main bursts on College Ave.
"How Exciting..." thought the DU Ducks.
"What can we do to play in the big puddle?", they continued.
They pondered and pondered over the idea...
And "Eureka"...

"How about a Duck Race".
Each forumer present was designated a duck.
From left to right....
Dirty Duck = Mr Hulka
Queer Duck = Mr sullyfan
Delta Force Duck = Mr Shire Shark
Upsilon Gone Duck = Miss Jemima PuddleDuck (aka. Killer)

***note... Killer's duck was designated via phone***
So... we took our ducks and wandered down in front of the AKPsi House.
And set the Ducks Down for the Race to start from Emerald St. to Agate St.
THE RACE IS ON...

It was an unfortunate start for Dirty Duck, as he tipped over on the start,
but Delta Force Duck took the lead
with the Queer Duck right on his tail...
Upsilon Gone Duck was just trying to keep up.

Dirty Duck was frantically trying get back on track,
but he was just too slow as he was always on his back.
Delta Force Duck took a turn to the worse
as he decided to change directions in the middle of the race.
Upsilon Gone Duck takes the lead with the Queer Duck now on his tail.

Dirty Duck just couldn't keep up...
As he remained on his back almost the whole race.
Poor little fella.

As the race continued...
It was between Delta Force Duck
and Upsilon Gone Duck with
the Queer Duck bringing up the rear

Upsilon Gone Duck Continues to hold strong...
but will he finish with Delta Force Duck trying to pull the lead?

Success! Delta Force Duck pulls the lead
as the Ducks approach the finish line...
Upsilon Gone Duck tips over from obvious drunkenness.
Dirty Duck was thrown back in the race... but he just fell onto his back again...
And it is evident that the Queer Duck is still bringing up the rear.


Wow... What a finish...
And the final standings are as follows:
1st Place: Delta Force Duck
2nd Place: Upsilon Gone Duck
3rd Place: The Queer Duck
Disqualified: Dirty Duck
