I'd go with:

1. James Roberts
2. Travis Robinson
3. Geoff Daniela / Brad Tighe / Wes Naiqama
4. Dean Whare
5. Josh Mansour
6. Lachlan Coote
7. Tom Humble

Matt Moylan could also play fullback with James Roberts on the wing. Although I don't expect we will go with such a young/inexperienced backline. But I hope that we only have one of Daniela/Tighe etc. in the side where Jenko would have played, and stick with guys that atleast have potential in the rest of the backline.

I don't think they will make the 8 still

It'll come down to how well Maloney and Pearce combine. No one combines well with Pearce. The bloke is a wanker on and off the field. He thinks he is everything. Maloney is better than him (potentially)

Sbw will be a bust I think

Jennings may go alright but not holding my breath

They might have a chance against Manly now too...

Let's not go overboard. We could be running first undefeated all season and I'm still pretty sure Manly would put 40 on us at Brookie

Always handy when the auditor is an ex-player, wonder how much he suggested that jennings is in the cap for.

Whatever Nick wants he gets, really the ARLC should be utilising the strength of the west, but then again the big guns tell the ARLC what to do. I remain cynical , but good luck to the Rorters

bla bla bla  Dribbler.

Maloney is the big question mark in our side. If Robbo has them switched on, pretty confident in everyone else.

If Maloney forms a decent combo with Pearce we've got a better side than 2010.

This year is about consolidating for the Roosters. If you look back over the last 4 years 2010 was the exception. They won some high scoring close games and then really hit form in the back end of the season and finals under a new coach.

This needs to be seen as a start of a long term build. I think they will finish anywhere between 6th and 10th and be satisfied they have improved well. Anything above that is an overachievement in my book anything below it is an under.

2014,15,16 if they keep this squad and add a little bit every year and get natural improvement that is when we can start looking at premierships. Hopefully we are seeing the beginning of a plan for success rather then just an ad hoc spend again.

Time will tell.

Which is of course why we've had the best roster every year loaded with origin and international players and been winning premierships constantly for the past 30 years.... :sarcasm:

If we have free reign with the cap, then why exactly haven't we been taking advantage of such apparent powers?

So the jist of delboys whinge is Uncle nick has told Grant and Co. to tell Schuey to approve the Jenko signing.

Don't be stupid, wasn't that trivial, we just planted Gus out west to help strengthen our weak areas like left centre. Next stop is sending Gus to the tiges so we can get Robbie Farah as well :D lol

To be honest I have no idea how we'll go with Jenko in te side now but god damn it this season can't kick off soon enough!

Good luck to Michael I wish him no ill will. I hope he rediscovers his best form which I am sure he will with the change in scenery.

To anyone questioning the Roosters cap - every other club has the same salary cap so don't get mad at them for making the most of theirs.

There's a shitload of players off-contract this year so don't complain if your club is too shit to offload dead wood and sign some good players.
