And anyone questioning the roosters cap I think Jennings takes $BW's money after he farks off next year
If both parties are happy after the 2013 season, SBW said that he and the Roosters may go another round. The Roosters have plenty of good young players coming through and a number of players off contract, so keeping Jenko and SBW together at the Roosters in 2014 is not out of the question.

Lol..

The guy is a superstar..

I'm a bit worried about his knees more than anything. Do you remember just before he left the dogs, didn't he admit in an interview (possibly footy show, definitely on tv somewhere and not radio) that he wasn't sure if his knees could hold out for the full 5 years of his dogs contract ? To me that is probably the biggest reason he left the dogs, he kind of had to. Surely someone out there can remember this ? OR am i imagining things ? <--- Yes i know that's in the high to very high likelihood ;-)

I don't remember that particular incident, but acknowledge he did struggle with injury as a kid..

Besides his pec problem ATM he seems to be very resilient nowdays..

I don't follow yawnion but i haven't heard off him having knee issues while playing that stuff..

It's the same whenever you buy a player as good as $BW..you cross your fingers & hope he doesn't get hurt..

f**k 6th - 10th..

We've got to make the most of $BW while we've got him..

I would take 6th or 7th over the drivel we've put in over the last two seasons. 10th would be a let down but not beyond us if we get injuries etc

The football Gods are not always kind - they're in the same category as video umpires - indifferent to suffering....... or so I've been led to believe watching our games over the past 5 years.

Maybe..

But i'm pretty happy with our roster an am going to express it..

I want to see a reversal like we did from '09 spoon to '10 GF..Just one step better this time..

We keep $BW on the field,& Jenko out of the Cross, then the sky is the limit..

I'm not saying we'll win the comp, but i think we have a top 4 roster now..

Sheck has me as pumped as Jenko..

But we need to make the most of the fact that we have someone like $BW..

I get feeling Robbo and Canavan aren't going to tolerate bullshit attitudes and off field shit.

Yes, our roster does look good on paper, but I seem to remember thinking that about 15 times before and not actually winning the comp :p

Players like Sheck, Cordner, Moga, SBW, SKD & Jennings mean we have some genuine talent in the side and things are looking brighter - I just don't want to start talking them up as that's the path to a face covered in a sticky gooey mess and it's no f**king money shot, just bird foetus.

Bloody Hell Lambretra, are you sure you are not a Panthers fan? You sound as pessimistic as most of us:)

I wouldn't worry too much about Jenkos attitude. That little beat up was overplayed. In my opinion he has always tried his best. His attitude in defence could do with improvement, he tackles ok, just suffers a bit in the turn and chase. Especially when the game seems gone. In attack no problems. People complain that he doesn't go looking for work enough, I call BS on that, he isn't a front rower. His problem with us is he is a very very good player with the contract of an elite future immortal. Now that the sand has been removed from my Vag, and mum has put all my toys back in the cot I can see why he had to go. Dissapointing yes, but you get that.

If he & SBW click early, then I can see plenty of points for you guys this year. The other positive is while other teams are worrying about the left side SKD will have more space on the right. It all hinges on your halves, so best of luck with that. Just be thankful he wasn't a package deal with Walsh.

? Is Orford still available?

unsure, but waddell is available and he's an all star. bring Minto out of retirement

i reckon Jennings will be on fire for at least a good part of the first year as he'll have a point to prove, after that i think we'll see the laziness come back

No, I've just been following the Roosters for a long time

Who would have thought a forward pack containing Mark O'Mealy, Willie Mason, Nate Myles etc could get a wooden spoon just a few years after dominating the whole comp in 2004 with another side?

I am pleased with the signing of Jennings - I just prefer to reserve my judgement until he's played a season in our colours first.
