Not if you have half a dozen stars with % increases in their contract that is linked to cap raises. Plus the 4 or 5 1st grade players they signed from other clubs for this season.

I listened to one of the CEOs - possibly Richardson form memory who said they only had one player with such a contract. That was about 6 weeks ago.

If the Bulldogs signings keep them "under the cap." Then surely the Roosters could afford Jennings.

And that one player got a bigger boat with every salary cap increase, right?

One like this, so he can sail out of the rain and use his aeroplane?

That's a nice little runabout for GI. He can get out on the harbour and do a bit of fishing. Under the radar.

And he would be well equipped to stop anybody hurting themselves.

Even thought I despise the Rorters and generally prefer the Panthers, I wouldn't mind seeing Jennings in the tri-colours'...uh...colours. The league is always fun when Sydney are playing well.

If Jennings wants out he is going to have to basically quit the Panthers meaning they will be paying him $0

The panthers need him gone due to salary cap pressure don't they?

I'm sure when push comes to shove they'll end up having to cover some of his salary. Its not like they have a feeder club interstate that they could make him to play at in an attempt to force him out of the club like Souths did with Galuvao. Jennings could simply collect $600k playing for Windsor

He is slotted into their cap and they are under it for 2013 so if the Roosters want him and Jennings wants out it is in their court.

If they really want they can bury him in Bundy Cup for Windsor. Nobody is picking a rep player from there.

Or, you know, he could just get on with it and prove his worth

I wouldn't put it past Sticky to do such a thing..

He did play Toddy Byrne in a GF..

Mick was picked from Windsor to NSW in 2012.

Nah mate. He's gone just where is the question. He almost was a Dragon the stumbling block was coach. Not personality just he is garbage and will prob get the ass. The lack of attack no 7 is what stopped him going. Roosters untried coach could make him not go there. He will go somewhere by next week
