Jeral Skelton
Date of birth: 8 April 1999
Birth Place: Redcliffe, Queensland
Height: 191 cm (6 ft 3 in)
Weight: 104 kg (229 lb; 16 st 5 lb)
Position: Winger

New Wests Tigers signing wasn't required for training for another 3 weeks but he's turned up early and ripping in. A clear indication that this guy wants a permanent wing spot in 2025.
Jeral has signed a two year contract and hopefully he will produce and stay longer.
If any one doubts his ability, watch his involvement in the Bulldogs v Sea Eagles week 1 finals game.

The 25-year-old has scored three tries in his six NRL appearances for Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, where he made his first-grade debut last season.

He has also scored 24 tries in 34 games for the Bulldogs in the NSW Cup, after arriving at Belmore in 2022.

The Queensland-born outside back will join Wests Tigers in the 2025 pre-season, and says he is excited about the next chapter in his football career.
“I think this is a great opportunity for me, and I’m really happy with this decision,” he said.
“Obviously I want to finish this season strongly with my current teammates, but I look forward to meeting my new teammates in pre-season. ”Wests Tigers coach Benji Marshall says Jeral has much to offer the club.
“We are excited to welcome Jeral and his family to our club for the next two seasons,” said Marshall.
“We love what he brings on the field and the person he is off the field, and we look forward to having him with us in 2025.”
Further signings will be announced in the coming days as the club continues to strengthen its depth in key positions.

When is the last time we've had a powerful Winger like this guy?
Man I hope he can deliver.
Apart from scoring tries, he should be good carting the ball up from a 5th tackle kick or handover near our line.

Geez Tanilla T was so sublime.TT & Richards are glaringly our 2 greatest wingers. However weve had more imbecilic sluggish wingers than any other club

These days, most players can play practically every position on the field.
Even big boppers find themselves defending in the pack and attacking out wide. An example of this is Gold Coast's David Fafita.
I can see the same thing happening with our new guys Jeral Skelton.
As soon as he establishes himself as a regular first grader and an impact player he may have two hats like Fafita does.
Whilst not as big and a physical presence as Fafita, Jack Bird might find himself playing where needed too.
I really excited about him playing for us because of his raw aggression and his hate for being dominated.
If he can produce some of the form that made him of of the world's best backs when playing for Cronulla then look out top 8.
He and Skelton could very well be our diamonds in the rough.

I don’t want to sound like a negative Nelly but re Bird reproducing his best Cronulla form he just simply is no longer capable.Watching him play for saints it’s obvious Father Time has caught up with him.Hes the only one of our recruits I didn’t agree with. The concern is that he keeps a talented kid who is superior to him from getting promoted to 1st grade.
