I thought Jeremy Smith was absolutely outstanding last night. Gallen was awesome and deserves all the accolades, but Smith deserves kudos for his efforts especially as the second marker and defender around the ruck. His wrestling skills consistently brought down players one on one and then he would flip them like turtles on their backs to delay their play-the-balls.

I mentioned this last week and no one responded to it. He has the best tackling technique in the NRL.

that he has, but it can go horribly wrong if his timing is out. Not so munch to the opponent, but a good chance of self injury.

Ive seen many blokes over the years that have a special technique. But sooner or later the timing misfires and whammmohhh, injured leg or hip.

Jeremy smiths hip tosses are insane, it's like watching a toddler or old person not notice an approaching step. All of a sudden they are eating shit and it's funny as hell!
Unfortunately he plays alongside Gal and doesn't get the recognition he deserves. Fugg he is good for us!

Last week Brent Kite was blowing up at the refs about one of Smith's tackles. Some of his tackles are very Alfie like. (leg first).
