They get the scorers wrong for about every second game. They are so hopeless.

I didn't see the game - but I think we must have tried to play Cronulla at their own game - instead of doing what we do best - bashing the tripe out of them.

The last time the two sides lined up the Cronulla side weren't able to do their 'voluntary tackle - quick play-the-ball - keep the attack flowing' thing because the Knights were gang tackling them and monstering them in defense. The Sharks got 12 penalties to nil in the first half - but by the end of the first half they didn't have a player keen to take on the line, and their only two tries of the game came from lucky bounces off kicks - despite having about 70% of the ball in the first half.

I think the style being played at Cronulla will not produce quality players for firstgrade. Jersey Flegg refs will reward this sort of play because they work very hard to keep the play 'clean' - but the seniors is no place for soft-c**ks.
