The jerseys would have been made late last year, before the Kia logo change. Still a chance the onfield jerseys will have the new logo by Round 1, but the retail jerseys might take longer, if they bother at all.

I was having a look around on the IP Australia search website and found that the Brisbane Firehawks trademark application is being opposed by Netball Queensland and the Queensland Firebirds. You'd figure the Adelaide 36ers would want to oppose the logo as well.

I feel that they are in their right to do so, purely coz its in there SEQ area, Adelaide however well isnt so, ....

But as far as trademarks go having the monopoly on certain mascots is stupid really, i get that its a business and Branding is important, but really having multiple same mascots or derivative ones anyway representing a city in a variety of sports??? there really isn't much cross over with netball and NRL
