Wear the home then, don't Have to wear an away just coz your away, but some dumb clubs have it in their clauses to wear an away a certain no. of games per year, I know rabbits were one, purely so they could alternate their major sponsoryes which means white away against them is pointless too
End of day its primarily a commercial decision. My club at least has had some years where it has sold more alt shirts than home ones. Fans seem to be happy to buy them. The Qlnd tour hommage, historic boilermakers and PNG respect shirts have been some of my fave HKR shirts of all time. The Warriors went through a phase of using every colour under the sun for their heritage/wil/Anzac jerseys and the fans hated it, you’d get a seas of rainbow colours in the crowd and the club looses its identify and unity a bit

It's just the Oxen way... if you let them they'd honestly design a new range every week of the year. Just look at how many ranges they have released for England this year (Black/Red, Graphite/Cyan, Coverstitch, Military, Panel, Warm Up, GB Inspired, Samoa Test Series)Whoever is in charge of merch at my club must be on commission, can’t keep up with all the releases!
