What are they going to realise about it? :sarcasm: It's crap and they should trade them in for Bulldogs jerseys?

If Broncos one was same as the catalog pics id say the Bulldogs one will be aswell. Although I heard they dont have a sleeve sponsor yet.

That's rubbish! Only a few minor changes, but the jersey design is the same as the last couple of years.
Thought they were going to bring out a new design this year?

The design is different, it has several aerodynamic factors such as grip surface underneath the arms, chamois surface on the back of the shorts for wiping hands dry, the collar is now not entirely t-shirt style.

As for the Bulldogs, they had their team photo in their old jersey on Friday, with QLD group's shoulder sponsorship taped over with a blue patch.

Evidently that jersey is the same as the one in that advertising guff.

The Broncos wore those shorts in the trial over the weekend, but not the new jersey .

No matter the on-field improvements to the jersey, I'm happy the design has not changed dramatically - at least all the supporters who purchased the old jersey (and its design) are not suddenly deemed 'out of date'.

Broncos new shirt now with hot pants.

After a long period of consultation with club apparel sponsor Nike, the 2006 premiers will this year wear a jersey that includes innovations never seen before in the NRL.

Topping the list is a chamois panel on the back of the shorts that players will use to dry their hands during a match.

Also aiding handling is a ‘gripper print’ covering the pectoral and upper arm area where a player generally carries the ball.

In addition, this jersey is 20 per cent lighter than the 2006 Broncos jersey.

Nike Dri-fit panels down the jersey and shorts allow the clothing to mould to the form of the body, while a tight neckline reduces the risk of players being tackled around the collar.

Lockyer said the jersey was one of the most streamlined he had ever worn.

“It is very form fitting, which will make it harder for tacklers to grab us by the jersey,’’ he said.

“The chamois panel will also be very useful during a match, especially for players like myself, who handle the ball constantly and need to keep their hands as dry as possible.”

Dunno bout the shorts, but the chamois I dry my car with needs continual wringing out.

Chances are the Bulldogs will have same, given the identical jersey manufacturer.

I've never understood the reasoning behind buying a new jersey just to have the latest one. I'd buy the new broncos jersey, but only for a collection of each design they've had, this being their 6th. Otherwise imo you just look like a bandwagoner year after year after year. my 2 cents.

The quality's shocking, but Bulldogs, Broncos and Souths aside, here's the full array of jerseys for 2007, courtesy of the lovely buggers at Rebel:

That pic is a pretty easy way to see what teams were more interested in marketing than looking after the design of the jersey. Even in a bad bunch Melbourne manage to stick out like a sore thumb. :(

Edit: I've gotta say, Canberra and Cronulla would both have fantastic jerseys if they just removed the excessive advertising on the front. Canberra only needs the CFMEU letters and not the geniused shapes and the Cronulla jersey really should lose the oversize red face on the LG logo.

IMO, the ones whose sponsors look good = Saints, Sydney, Cronulla, Newie, NZ, NQ, Parra, Penrith, Dogs.

The rest need work.

yeah, the unobtrusive sponsorship logos are the best. personally I liked the the Magpies jersey Wests wore last year with just PROTON CARS under the white Vs. I also like how AAMI is now worked into the Qld jersey instead of 2003 where it was a white box with red letters. That looked terrible and stuck out like a sore thumb.

Im now sick of our jerseys, they were OK for a while, something new, something diff....I wish we went back to something more traditional.
Roosters, Sharks retro, Cowboys aways and raiders bar the green are good jumpers, Saints and souths too.
The boys club is getting new jersey design too....I gues sthey'll come out with some faggy looking thing coz some other clubs are doing it too....:(

Mate I feel totally the opposite. I reckon the Storm Jersey is one of the best in the league, the only criticism I would have is the layout of the sponsor - Medibank. Other than that its two thumbs up from me.

Canberra have had a real problem succeasfully incorporating their sponsors into their jerseys. The last one that looked decent was Ozemail (which coincidently was on the best ever Raiders Jersey IMO) . The CFMEU logo looks horrible on the jersey, but you can't just simply rebrand your majors sponsor's logo to suit.

Apart from that the jersey I don't like is Manly's. The Pepsi version in the Mid 90's was great, and even the retro (Maroon with white piping) is great. The current design is so basic & bland. The only positive is it could make their opposition fall asleep with boredom.

Sharks looks the best (Old school retro version), but do agree the red LG logo looks a bit odd.

The CFMEU is worked into the Raiders off-field gear, I really don't see why they couldn't do the same for the jersey.

I think that's what he was getting at, that medibank logo is horrendous.
