Jerseys & Sponsors -- 07!

The saints charity shield jumper for 2007. I dont think much of it, however if all proceeds from jumper also get donated to the charities, then great.

The Saints always have a new Charity Shield jumper, that one looks alright actually.
I like jerseys that are simple in design. Like ours, Dragons, Rabbitohs, Sharks, etc
I hate jerseys that have too much on them IE Tigpies. The late 90's early 00's are over and it's good to see clubs moving away from the razzle dazzle of what designs one can do with sub-laminated polyester.

I bought the Saints Charity shield strip. I've always liked the idea of a plain white strip, so when I saw it online I immediately purchased it.

The adidas stripes in red across the shoulders would be a nice touch, but ah well.

The bulk of this year's jerseys are the same or very similar to last years. The biggest change is Canberra going back to its heyday design which is good and Parra's tinkering with its design. The Parra jerseys aren't too different yet are much better than last year's IMO. The Titans jersey is very average. I think a team's original jersey should be a real classic, something memorable and iconic that you can look back on fondly. This jersey has nothing iconic or memorable about it. It's mediocre at best, which I guess in a way has typified Gold Coast Rugby League up until now, but it's not the best way to start as a new franchise. Not much thought put into it at all.

The Titans jersey is very average. I think a team's original jersey should be a real classic, something memorable and iconic that you can look back on fondly. This jersey has nothing iconic or memorable about it. It's mediocre at best, which I guess in a way has typified Gold Coast Rugby League up until now, but it's not the best way to start as a new franchise. Not much thought put into it at all.

It won the popular vote, you can't blame the Titans for the actions of the public.

These are the U20's jerseys but some look like they might have difference sponsors. Melbourne's looks like they don't have a main sponsor at all (and their jersey looks a million times better for it).

I'm going to ask a potentially silly question here, but which teams are the black ones in the foreground? Warriors (R), Souths ??? (middle), Penrith? (L) ...

What's up with Souths having a black jersey? Why not the green and red like their NRL counterparts? Is there a specific reason they're wearing that?
