OK Frenzy, didn't know you changed your name. Mitch is a club legend, fmd must have been the drugs in the 90's eh?

I knew that would be a controversial opinion in here.
Like the rest of us, I loved him when he first came through.

But I ended tired of seeing him fail to capitalise on the platform laid by the pack, unable to unleash the most potent backline we’d had and endlessly launching bombs into the mangroves.

I preferred to watch the game from the hill

Upper ET for me.
Birds-eye vie of Healey butchering opportunity after opportunity.
Luckily for him, he was partnered with Paul Green and, later on, Jason Ferris. Both of who made up for his inadequacies.

And don’t get me started on Dykes… 😂

When Wally Lewis won 5/8 of the year in the Broncos first year, he mentioned how he heard of all the great players, Daley etc, but found Mitch Healey his hardest opponent. Just kept cutting his legs out.

I call shenanigans on that.
The Broncos first year was 1988, when Wally won five-eighth of the year.

Healey came in to grade in 1989.

Be that as it may, I wasn’t questioning his defensive capabilities.
