Balmain were easy winners 38-6 and looked very slick. We fielded an all Flegg team bar one player and were very disjointed with lots of dropped ball and missed tackles.
Balmain had a day where everything went well and got the bounce of the ball and deserved their win as they just looked to good on the day.

Where were all the Jets fans? I was in the Members with a few but it seemed very quiet down below. Was that because of the scoreline or did you all have something better to do?

We usually get a good roll up on the CC. Hope I can get off work for this one.

I was there decked out in jets gear giving it to balmain fans.

Jenny was sitting in the players area looking all official. I made sure to embarass her

I myself did wonder where all the Jets fans were but at 20 bucks it was an expensive affair.







When you add four hundred schooners to it :S


In all honestly i coulda done better than some of those blokes and I think I should be given the opportunity at the nearest possible time. if the coaches of the team know anything about rugby league they will know what a valuable commodity I am.

BTJ you kill me with your writing, you could write a hilarious Aussie sitcom with your writing.
For those who have ever seen BTJ play and talk to his teammates you will know he can't tackle, run, pass lead, follow, in a nutshell he is a talent bankrupt.
You have had your chances in the past few years to trial yet I cannot remember any of your so called barnstorming runs, bit hits and tries.

Kepp up the great stories though they are just so good.

I was at Good Vibrations, I was wearing my Jets cap. Every second person stopped me to say how much they loved the Jets. I encouraged them all to come down to Henson to watch them (most didnt even realise they still played). So you could say I was doing my bit for the club!

Bluebag I love what you are doing. I know there are players and officials from other south sydney clubs who are on here reading up, not to mention talent scouts from other teams in the NRL and Super League. You are just keeping them away from what is Newtown's hottest commodity...

$20 for a trial is expensive but the Charity Shield is $32 bucks a go. I hate t o agree with BTJ but for families it is getting too much or is it a plan to get people to pay for FOX.

Meanwhile BTJ, do you also mean that your teammates gethit by your tackles and they also don't remember either.
Sorry if I am stopping the NRL talent scouts are being turned away from your obviously hot talents but I cannot stop telling the truth as it is not as you see it.
I was talking to Gavin Orr of SBW fame and the chat got around to you of which he was aware of your "abilities" and I asked what would you be worth as a footballer.
He replied"It is hard to put a dollar figure on hois talent, perhaps we should talk Lira and when I say Lira I mean in the single figure to be paid over 25 years"
So here was a man who recognised and signed SBW and you do not have any value at all except for rugby where you could get a big contract as they are always looking for short, unathletic players with no skills, who cannot tackle and they only run 1 yard to the attacking side, you would fit in perfectly in that code.

Don't mind paying to watch the Jets play, but not $20 for a Chooks flegg side.
