The halves are interesting Trindall could be anything, but Jack A Williams can you see him coming trhough.

Williams 2 is a handy player but I'd be surprised if he became a NRL regular. You never know though. Uele often didn't look that great at Canterbury Cup but has been dynamic in Sharks colours. Flanagan has also been a pleasant surprise. Some players need the big occasion to excel.

I like the look of Wilton as a long-term prospect as well.

I haven't seen much of Flegg this year but yep they're flying. 9-1 and winning by big margins.

The Talakai/Mulitalo combo on the right has been good to watch develop. That's the gun side with Katoa on the end of it.

Don do you have any idea what's happening with Anthony Moraitis? Havent seen him named/play this year. Injury? Or has he left. Good clubman for Newtown.

Jets get up 34 - 20 over the Mounties.
Anyone got the scoop on the game? Starting to fire after dismal start to season.

He started the year but has since retired to concentrate on his family business. You're right about him as a club man.

This is a problem for the sport imo. A lot of players leave the game if they get to 23, 24 and don't seem to have a chance of playing NRL.

Hows Mulitalo going? He was killing it at the start.. Hope he develops his game into FG for us.

He's continued to be good. Very strong around the upper arms/shoulders and looks like breaking tackles every time he gets the ball.

They were really good in the first half and lost interest a bit late in the game. Scoreline flattens the Mounties side.

Joliffe probably the best of the forwards and scored a close range try. Mounties really struggled to contain Trindall. Katoa also had his best game in ages and scored 2 tries, one long range.

Last year was disjointed for him makes debut breaks jaw, when returns down on confidence, the team was struggling.

This year didnt start the greatest, if he is cheap to keep, would sign him for a one year deal, by then we would know if he is going to make it

I think we re-signed him around the time he was out with a broken jaw. I remember the doggies were sniffing around pretty hard for him.

Jets fell over the line 24-18 in a strange effort against the Dragons this afternoon. Raced out to a 24-4 lead and then completely shut up shop with conservative football and dumb penalties and almost choked it away.

Jack A. Williams was dynamic in the first half run and Joliffe was probably best of the bunch in the forwards. The team looked much better when Brailey was operating out of dummy half.

Mulitalo and Trindall both withdrew from the side - in the extended squad for NRL?

Mulitalo didn't play last week either, might be niggling injury.
