Jonelle said:Great counting, Newtown and Belrose I noticed don't have much support this year. Belrose usually have over 200x at their home games. Come to Cabramatta homegrounds, there has been a few games with no other games prior which naturally has huge crowds. Likewise with Wentworthville. As for Windsor losing some great players and have been up and down this last half have lost their crowd numbers. But every Windsor home game was always JAMMED PACKED!
Clubs competing in JBC represents their city and area surroundings, so naturally players from these clubs and family and friends would want to stay and support the JBC.
Always in these forums for too long I see alot of criticism towards JBC. Go deal with your own PL problems and try to fix it. Forever whinging about JBC. One comment I read a year back was JBC getting the glossier and colourful pages on Big League Book, now for crying out loud about JBC being on FOX2?!!!! It's so amusing:roll:
Clubs competing in the JBC have the money to be able to run such a competition. And so good for them, trialling out different avenues. Its all good sports and it involves the communities and the fast and growing young guns. Jim Beam Cup is great for Sydney and its fast growing communitys, I believe its only going to get bigger! ;-)
Wake up farka !!!! Agree with a SMALL part of what you have posted but don't critise what you do not at all comprehend or understand. Newtown owned Metro cup ( Alias JBC ) and have a huger following than any crowd that JBC could possibly ever pull. Our worst EVER premier league side would annhilate any team in that comp by far !!!! Do the math on that !!! Which comp is actually better for an NRL build up and makes BETTER viewing!!!! the one with more talent and as such better crowd viewing qualities ( :-k :whistle =; )
