It's a shame if he won the premiership in 09 he could of become only the 2nd player ever to win a competition with 3 different clubs.
Who was the first?

Never heard a bad word said about Joe. Echo the sentiments of everybody else in this thread, the type of player ever club needs to have.

Boyd will go close I think, being so young and already having 2.

Joe's wife is also a good sort and great singer. I don't know why a show like the footy show does not get them both on at least once or twice a season to do a number or two.

But then again, they have lost the plot on that show a long time ago.

Love Joey G. Did not want to see him leave Parra. Always did the hard work and never complained. Only ever wanted to take care of his family.

All he ever needed was for a club to stand by him and take care of him at every turn like he has for them. A shame Souths treated him like shit. Scum club.

To think Rusty wanted him to retire almost 4 years ago. He's going to play in his second Grand Final since!! LOL@50uff$

This...
His quote that he would rather the club let him go than lose the young talent we have at the club due to salary cap pressure spoke volumes to me about his character. the way lol@souffs treated him was disgraceful

Galuvao has been told by Souths co-owners to consider swapping the paddock for the pulpit and become a religious minister so the club can free up money for Wing. And others are on the outer as well.

Great bloke. Happy to see life go well for him.

I remember well when we broke into first grade at the Warriors. I think he replaced Ridge, who was either injured or suspended. He was really exciting from the back. Met him after the game and he was very humble and deflected all of the praise he was getting.

Champion bloke. Nice tribute from Geyer on the Roast last weekend, saying every team needs a Joe Galavao. And they do. Salary-cap wise, he's probably on nigh-on minimum but plays like he should be getting quadruple that..and never whinges about it. And I imagine is a perfect role model for the young Polynesian players, which is a vital thing to have these days.

Aside from Gulavao being a good bloke, he also serves a cautionary tale for any player even entertaining the thought of signing with 50uff$. It's career suicide
