i've been against letting Reddy go, and wanted him to be kept at the club as he is a solid first grader, but if you speak out about the club, or threaten to leave - then as far as i am concerned ... there's the door

Sucks he's ready to walk but if he in fact does then f**k off. I'd rather have walker who will be with us through the hard times and do all he can to play to his ability. This shows Joel has a pea heart.

Will be interested to see if the article actually has any details about "why", if the statement on Reddy is even true?

It can't be because Joel wasn't named in next week's team, as we have the bye... don't tell me it's another case of a Brian Smith v Jamie Lyon locker room blow-up? We need better people skills in the joint than that, if that is what happened on Sunday/Monday leading to this headline.

Reddy is tipped to sign with one of the three rival clubs within the next fortnight, with the Bulldogs and Cronulla believed to be among the clubs chasing him.Reddy's manager Steve Gillis confirmed last night it was unlikely the City Origin centre from last season would be staying with the Eels.

"Joel's loyal to Parramatta and he loves the players out there. He would like to stay but at this stage we haven't got an offer in writing," Gillis said. "At the same time there is plenty of interest in his talents and other clubs are keen to recruit him.
