Wow that sucks, he was one of few positives about your team. He killed it was it last year or the year before, hasn't really been up to that standard this year though.

Joel Reddy to walk, Chris Sandow to reject offer

I was the first one to vote on that poll too.

I voted yes.
Thanks for the link PP.

So it's just about Reddy getting a bit anxious because his future beyond this year is still up in the air, while other clubs are coming at him already?

Seems we are reluctant - with Sandow and Reddy - to actually get to the "things in writing" stage? It seems to effect getting people to want to come to Parra, as well as getting players who want to stay locked in.

Kearney's quoted as the one with the plans re recruitment, but what is the work split with the CEO about actually drawing up contracts? Where is the recruitment and retention (which Kearney highlights) going wrong?

Was interested in Avenger's post in another thread implying Osborne might be lucky to see out the month - is there something going wrong in the office?

If the quote is true then it seems Parra just don't want him.
exactly, interesting to see reactions on here and comparing the comments to souths and Sandow.

It is clearly obvios the same idiots are commenting without even reading the article.:crazy: to bad we can't have a fan cleanout.

People, relax. He's not walking out. He's signing elsewhere because we haven't offered him anew deal. Great bloke, but solid if unspectacular player. O'Brien and Morgan will do fine.

This has nothing to do with a culture change. Reddy isn't the type to give up. If he leaves massive questions have to be asked of our coach & CEO. Kearney waxed lyrical about juniors playing for other clubs. Seems like Phil slothfield is even turning a little on kearney. Let's be honest. Everyone our super coach has wanted has turned there back on him even though we have offered overs to sign them. Alarm bells should be ringing about now

It seems as though some players or not coping with a much needed culture change. SK will not take shit from people and demands everyone's best. That's good enough for me.

So we're going to have 25 Billy Rogers in our top 25 next year then? Gee... I think I'd better find another club to support.

Agreed

'Finger 2 Lip' Kearney has already contradicted himself. Reddy's certainly better than Morgan and some of our other outside backs. Unless he's able to nab some world class outside backs for next year then Reddy should be held onto no doubt. At least give him an offer.

We have no speed in our backs and that includes Reddy. He's a toiler at best. He's a centre that you would say has good defence but when that fails he has nothing. He hasn't improved since playing well 2 years ago. perhaps a change could be good for both parties

So, our current right centre, Joel Reddy, we dont feel is good enough and were not offering him a contract. We were offered the current City Orgin right centre, Beau Champion, at the end of last year and we pass on him too. Who exactly does Kearney intend to sign to play right centre if Joel Reddy and Beau Champion arent good enough? Gasnier? Hodges?? Lyon even???

Am I the only one who read the headline and assumed he would walk mid contract, only to read the article and realise he just might be signing elsewhere for next year?

I still think it's ridiculous we haven't offered him a new deal and hate the prospect of him playing for another club.

Not a bad assessment. How do you think young Morgan will go as his replacement with Uasele next to him??

after the performance against the drag queens, I thought, yeah mid-season.

But after reading the article, basically, he hasn't received an offer yet and is a bit pissed.

How do you know?

Reddy isn't the type to give up.

You've faced hardship alongside him have you?

If he leaves massive questions have to be asked of our coach & CEO.

Those questions might be answered with three words - 'clean out'.

Kearney waxed lyrical about juniors playing for other clubs. Seems like Phil slothfield is even turning a little on kearney. Let's be honest. Everyone our super coach has wanted has turned there back on him even though we have offered overs to sign them.

Have we really offered overs though? Do you know this for sure?

I reckon if we really had offered 'overs' (ie. more than a player is worth) then we would have gotten everyone we wanted. Who wouldn't take more than they're worth?

Alarm bells should be ringing about now

With you lot alarm bells ring every time we lose a game.

You're the biggest bunch of whiny cats I've ever seen.
