Interesting hearing this interview( http://www.radiolivesport.co.nz/John-Hart/tabid/454/articleID/17695/Default.aspx ) from Hart and his opinions on the Warriors troubles.

Listening to the interview it's obvious that he still follows the club closely. And a lot of the points make sense.

I know he copped a lot of shit from certain sections of the Warriors fan base because of his RU background...

But I reckon he should be in Scurrah's spot right now.

He left basically because of disagreement with some of the decisions being made by Scurrah.. Namely... Letting Cleary walk to Penrith.

In hindsight Hart has come out of that fall out looking much better.

Would the Warriors diehards be okay with him being in charge though?

One thing Hart was dead on the money was about Bluey...My brother in Law's father was playing golf with Hart in the off season of 2012 and Hart said that Bluey would take the club backwards and the team would finish near the bottom of the table.

I think he was good for the club. I would definitely be up for him replacing scurruh. I have been a season ticket holder from the beginning and for the first time in 20 years I really am losing interest in the warriors.

Yes I agree John Hart is who we need as CEO, listening to Wayne Scurrah yesterday on Radio Sport,
he doesn't care what us the fans want, it's all about the Money for him. Also why Steve Price our most influential captain is not involved at the club I don't know, proves Scurrah isn't interested in real success at
the club.

Yeah John Hart would have been good for the club if he stayed, I for one wish he did stay or came back in a decision making capacity.

I know what you mean. I' was a season ticket holder for about 14 of the last 20 years via work and private and this year decided not to get them... there were 10 of us in total who did this. I saw on the footy show that the Warriors season ticket holders amount to 7500 which is 3rd last out of all of the clubs

Price CEO. John Hart Executive Director of Football. I would suggest a significant turnaround would start there.

This thread is a whole bunch of fail.

Suggesting Hart as CEO = fail
Suggesting Price as CEO = fail

What proven business experience do these guys have?

Hart possibly in a football / coaching director's role but CEO.

CEO is a pretty wide ranging role covering a pretty large of range varied of commitments.
Its naive to suggest price / hart imo

I am not a big Hart fan... but if you're asking about his business experience, you haven't paid attention... it was that that always cost him in rugby circles... the old "he's a flash business guy, never an All Black..."

He has a serious business pedigree...

Summary:

Worked for Fletchers for 30 years. Ended as Group Employee Relations Director. That HR/man manager bent translated into pretty wll during huis Auckland days, and when his stints as coach and selector of the ABs. Had a fir bit of input into rugby as it went pro. That turned out pretty well really. Was Exec Director of the New Zealand Warriors -- as well as a pretty good mentor for Ivan -- and Director of half a dozen other companies. Some good (Fletcher spinoffs), some not (Football Kingz). Current Director of SKY TV, NZ Pro-Am Golf Champs, and his consultancy business.

Not sure he's an out and out CEO, having never filled that position before, but he's better than many who've filled the Warriors' big chair, and arguably the one who does now. At the very least a steady right-hand for someone with little CEO experience, such as Price.

Would prefer Jim Doyle myself, but that boat has probably sailed. A step back from the NRL, and he has plenty of work to do there, but if it's a challenge he wants... shit, they don't come bigger than the Warriors IMO.

Interesting to see a few not interested in Price or Hart.

They will get our club management and attitude sorted, or at least better than it is plus Hart is a proven success.
