I am really digging John now. He is a Tigers supporter too so he would have more passion than most of the boys. I want him to play out his career with us. I think he is really coming on now. I want him permanently in the 14 jersey.

I might even go so far as to say he's my favourite player now.

I thought he played okay.

He puts a lot of effort in and is a great defender.
He's always there to clean up the scraps and to try and save that try with last gasp defence.

Yeah, he is a good defender, no doubt.

Offers slightly less than 0 in attack, but can tackle.

And I take the assist back, the NRL site hasn't even credit him with that one... lol

Jesus, you're bagging Morris on the back of that dismal team effort?

At least the guy plays with comittment.

Collis was apalling tonight (in fact the whole right hand side you may as well forget about), Ryan looks like he's sleepwalking, Gibbs is Gibbs, and Payton - a class act being forced to play lock. Plus Lawrence, who for some reason consistently finds himself out of position.

And Benji ... the Enigma.

How in professional 2009 NRL does one kick off out on the full?

... of course leading to a try off the next set.

A team of rock stars fellas - coached by a man who thinks he should be atop a mountain somewhere - holding a twig.

At least he has a dig, plays with heart and has pride in his jersey. We have a few people like Halatau and Collis who have far more talent but play with far less effort. They should be dropped before Morris

The sad and most frustrating thing is; I believe that we are one player short from being a super team. If we had a dominant half that could lead and direct us around the park a player that would give Benji freedom, we would be a super team.

Bring back Prince.

I agree we need a genuine halfback but to think that would make all the difference is a looooooooong stretch. Unless he can make 700 tackles a game.

Í can't believe some of you are getting a boner over the first semi decent game Morris has played in his time at the Tigers
