Unfortunately, this could be the end of Joey I fear. After the worry about the neck and the consideration of retirement, I think this could well be where he pulls the pin. I hope not, and I hope the scans come back with a different prognosis, for the sake of the game!! With all the crap it is going through at the moment, players like Joey are crucial to keep the fans going through the gates

Not a good day for halfbacks, first Firman breaks his leg then Johns does his knee. I hope Sheppard and McLinden are careful up in Townsville tonight!

As much as I've had a bit against Joey in the past, it'd be a damn shame to see him retire. He's an all-time great and we need him for the sake of bringing the fans in.
